Dave has been playing guitar for over 20 years. He has been in the Austin / Pflugerville area for over 10 years playing in original and cover bands as well as recording and producing various artists in his home studio. With over 7 years of teaching experience his lessons revolve around helping students learn how to play their favorite music while giving them a foundation of music theory knowledge they can use to be creative and find their own voice on guitar. The lessons are tailored for each individual based on what their interests and goals are with an emphasis on teaching the songs the student wants to learn. There is also a curriculum for younger students or anyone who is not quite sure where to start. He welcomes all types of musical tastes no matter what the style or genre. Some of his favorite bands/artists include Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, Stone Temple Pilots, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Sword, Royal Blood, and many more.
