Pflugerville Piano PFormal
We are excited to announce the Summer 2026 Pflugerville Piano PFormal, proudly co-hosted by Pfluger-Rock and Out of this World Music Schools. We hope to continue to offer a variety of performance opportunities, so that everyone can participate where they feel most comfortable. This opportunity is ideal for those who are seeking a more traditional recital experience and venue. The venue has a concert grand piano for students to use. In addition to piano students, students who are interested in performing an acoustic instrument like violin or acoustic guitar are also welcome to join. Vocal performances are also welcome, but must be a cappella.  Please note that we will not have any speakers or gear to facilitate electronic performances. Students should work with their instructor to select a song that best showcases their talents and interests. Song choice is due no later than 4 weeks before the concert, at the time of sign-up. We recommend choosing a song 8-12 weeks in advance to give plenty of time to polish the performance.***Please note that performers MUST remain present for the duration of their concert, no exceptions. Every student deserves a full house applauding their hard work. Concerts are no longer than a movie and are a celebration of music, inspiration, and community. ***
Event Details
Date: Saturday, June 13th
Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM (the day will be split into multiple shows (90 min or less), and individual show times will be assigned based on sign-ups)
Venue: Pflugerville First United Methodist Church - 500 E. Pecan
Cost: $30/performance (includes a commemorative trophy for all participants!)

Warm-up at PflugerRock: We will be opening the rooms at Pfluger-Rock from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM for students to come and warm up before their performance. This is open to all performers and has no additional cost. Come and go at any time, but please note that we must shut down at 12:30 sharp so we can open the venue. There will not be time to warm up at the venue, so please do so either at home or at Pfluger-Rock!

Trophies: We will have the performer’s name added to their trophy as entered at sign-up. Please double-check spelling. Trophies will be awarded at the end of each show.

Photos: We will have a designated chair up front for parents/family members to use during their child's performance. Once their performance ends, please return to your seat so that the next family may use it. There will be time allotted for families to take their own photos around the venue after the trophies are awarded.

Sign-Up Information: Sign-ups will open via an emailed link on May 10th at 2pm and close on May 16th. Signup may close earlier due to all slots being filled. Please sign up as soon as the link is sent out. Due to the considerable amount of planning required to put on our recitals, no late sign-ups will be accepted. Performer name, instrument, and song selection must be declared at signup. Please note that in order to be eligible, students must maintain active enrollment from April to June. All levels of musicianship are welcome. Performance slots are limited to a maximum of 5 minutes.

Once sign-ups close, you will be sent your assigned show time slot, and your account will be charged the fee. Once processed, there are no refunds for dropouts for any reason.

Keep Music PFun Concert
We are excited to announce the Summer 2026 Keep Music PFun Concert, proudly co-hosted by Out of this World & PflugerRock Music Schools. We hope to continue to offer a variety of performance opportunities, so that everyone can participate where they feel most comfortable. This opportunity is ideal for those who are seeking a modern concert experience. This event is open to all instruments. We will have a house drumset, electronic piano, and several other instruments, speakers, and a mic to use. Students may bring their own guitar/bass but we request that they are able to be plugged in. Students should work with their instructor to select a song that best showcases their talents and interests. Song choice is due no later than 4 weeks before the concert, at the time of sign-up. We recommend choosing a song 8-12 weeks in advance to give plenty of time to polish the performance. Students from both music schools will come together for an unforgettable day of performances! All genres, instruments, and levels of musicianship are welcome and students choose their own performance pieces, creating an incredibly engaging variety show. Students should choose songs that they love playing - this is YOUR big day! Performers are encouraged to have fun and make their performances their own. Dress up, dress down, face painted, in sweats, in full costume - whatever makes you happy and excited to perform! Remember, this is all about having fun and enjoying musicianship! You already rock! Group/Band performances- Please coordinate and choose one slot that works for all of you. If all showtimes are full, please add yourself/your child to the understudy/backup list. The shows are not divided by age and the earlier shows typically fill first, so young performers are encouraged to get signed up as soon as the window opens. Slots are limited and due to the incredible amount of work that goes into making our events a magical experience, no late submissions will be accepted.

Time: 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM - The concert will be divided into several 90-minute blocks: 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, & 5:30pm. You will be emailed your assigned show time once signups have closed. Please note that we will do our best to accommodate showtime requests in the order they are received, but showtimes are not guaranteed. If you are hoping to be grouped in a show with friends/family, please make note of this in your signup. Signups are via the provided link ONLY. Instructors can not sign you/your child up.

Cost: $30/performance (includes a commemorative event T-shirt, with performers listed on the back)
Warm-up at Kick Butt Coffee: There will be multi instrument warm up stations available for student use. Warming up at home is still a good idea!
T-Shirts: Extra shirts will be available for pre-order at signup. We will have a few extras on concert day, but sizes will be limited. Shirts are $30, have the performers listed on the back, and are a fun memory you can wear! Shirt sales go toward event costs; thank you for your support!

Pfluger-Rock has lessons year-round. If you're planning an extended absence this summer and wish to halt tuition payments, you must submit a withdrawal form at the desk or on the website. Please note that in order to participate in our Summer Performances in June, students must maintain active enrollment from April-June. Please submit a withdrawal form by the 15th of the month if you wish to avoid charges during an extended absence. If you take a break for summer vacation and want us to reserve your lesson time, you will need to continue making monthly tuition payments. Students may withdraw and re-enroll after their vacation, but it is unlikely that their previous time slot will be available upon their return. Returning students might have to register with a different teacher and could face a tuition increase. While it is occasionally possible for a student to return to their former time slot or teacher, we cannot guarantee availability if tuition is not paid during the absence.
