
Wille Gammell
Willie Gammell holds a degree in Guitar Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory, where he focused on both classical and jazz traditions. After graduating, he became an active performer and educator in the Washington, D.C. music scene, serving as lead guitarist for the regionally popular reggae band The Soulutions.
He later relocated to New York City, working as a freelance recording guitarist, live sideman, and private instructor. During this time, he recorded on numerous indie albums and demo projects. Willie has toured nationally with a variety of acts, including The Galt Line, The Neighbors, and many others, performing across the U.S. in styles ranging from swing to roots rock.
For the past decade, he has taught private students across Colorado’s Front Range and led the Western Swing band Cliffside Rodeo, building a reputation for both high-level musicianship and genre fluency. His teaching combines formal technique with real-world experience, aiming to build strong, creative players in any style.
